Simeonie Oshutsiaq was born in Nuvujjuaq near Kinngait. His testimony contains information about a dog shooting incident that he witnessed, along with his wife Omalluk Oshutsiaq. One morning, while many dogs, including his own, were tied up in Kinngait RC section, two RCMP officers wearing their uniforms shot them claiming that they were sick. Yet, Simeonie does not remember dogs being sick at that time. He remembers this incident happening when he was about 17 years old.
